Memorandum
To: Adventurer Parents and Guardians, Springfield Junior Pioneers Adventurer Club From: Springfield Junior Pioneers Adventurer Club staff Date: Re: Adventurer Club Year
Welcome to the Springfield Junior Pioneers Adventurer Club. This ministry exists to involve you, the parent or guardian, in a growing relationship with God, His creation, and the people around us.
Purpose & Vision
Our club partners with parents and guardians to shepherd children toward a deeper experience with Jesus Christ. By combining spiritual, mental, recreational, and social activities, we help families guide Adventurers up the ladder of character growth and development.
Meeting & Communications
We meet the first and third Saturday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., except when the calendar notes a different arrangement. Some Sundays also offer extended gatherings from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as published on the calendar. Meetings are held at the First Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church unless otherwise noted.
If there are any changes to this schedule, we will inform you via text messages, WhatsApp, or post updates on the First Springfield SDA Church website.
Fees & Payments
The registration fee for this Adventurer year is $100 for new Adventurers and $80 for returning Adventurers. These fees cover uniform accessories, award patches, the activity workbook, the class “B” uniform shirt, and classroom materials and supplies.
You may pay the registration fee as a lump sum ($100/$80) or in four monthly installments.
- December: $25/$20
- January: $25/$20
- February: $25/$20
- March: $25/$20
Participation Expectations
At each meeting, Adventurers will complete most of their class requirements, with some activities needing follow-up at home. Please partner with your child so all requirements can be completed promptly. If you miss a meeting, check with your child’s instructor to learn what was covered so your Adventurer can still earn stars, chips, or awards. Parents are expected to attend and participate in all extracurricular activities with their Adventurer.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to a successful year as we work together to prepare the Adventurers for the heavenly kingdom. Your support and prayers are deeply appreciated as we lead this club.
Please note that the Atlantic Union will hold a joint Adventurer and Pathfinder camporee in May. Adventurers may only attend this event with a parent or guardian, and children may sleep in tents only with their own parent or guardian. Let club leaders know if you plan to attend with your child.
