Pathfinders & Adventurers

The Springfield clubs help children and teens grow in faith, character, service, and practical life skills through a shared family-centered ministry.

Shared overview

Pathfinders and Adventurers share one church home so families can follow club life, registration steps, and calendar updates from a single place. The ministry helps children and teens grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially through worship, service, outdoor learning, and practical skill-building.

Pathfinders & Adventurers Club Director: Daunette Lemard-Reid

Club rhythm

  • Shared club meetings usually happen on the first and third Sabbaths from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Some Adventurer outings or special family activities happen on selected Sundays and will be confirmed on the campus calendar.
  • The live campus calendar is the source of truth for confirmed meeting dates, outreach days, and church-wide youth events.

Adventurers

The Springfield Junior Pioneers Adventurer Club serves children ages 4-9 and partners closely with parents and guardians. Club time blends Bible learning, crafts, nature activities, service projects, and playful faith formation so children can build confidence, friendships, and Christ-centered habits.

Adventurer highlights

  • Family participation matters: parents and guardians stay involved in club life, communication, and extracurricular activities.
  • The registration form and memo cover practical details such as participation expectations, fees, supplies, and communication channels.
  • Additional outings, Sunday activities, and schedule adjustments are posted on the campus calendar rather than managed on a separate club page.

Pathfinders

Pathfinders welcomes youth ages 10-15 and helps them grow in leadership, teamwork, responsibility, service, and outdoor confidence. Meetings may include worship, drill, honors, camping skills, community service planning, and mentorship that prepares young people to serve both in church and in the wider community.

Pathfinder focus

  • Leadership, teamwork, and responsibility through hands-on club life.
  • Outdoor skills, camping, honors, and service experiences that build resilience and confidence.
  • Shared worship and service opportunities with the wider church family throughout the year.
